White acoustic panelling, floor to ceiling mirrors, light wooden floors and extensive natural daylight create an inspiring event location within the Princess Alexandra Hall for music rehearsals and live performances. A concert hall which presents superb acoustics and is complete with an integrated audio-visual system.
High-definition cameras enable concerts to be recorded and filmed directly to a USB, or livestreamed to YouTube or Facebook. For classical music recordings the Hall hosts four integrated Rode TF5 microphones for studio quality sound recording. By night, the space can be transformed using subtle lighting, creating an atmosphere that complements the magnificent Steinway Model D piano in residence.
Six Park Place is home of the Royal Over-Seas League, a not-for-profit organisation awarded a Royal Charter in 1922. The Royal Over-Seas League is committed to the career development of talented young professional artists and musicians from the UK and beyond.
The principle ways in which the Royal Over-Seas League supports artists and musicians is through the Annual Music Competition, Commonwealth Music Scholarships, and Commonwealth Visual Arts Scholarships.
